The Active Mini will be another Samsung device under the flagship S4 name. This new Smartphone will be given the model number of GT-I8580.

Mini phones generally not only drop in size but also stature, and this one according to the specs shown after it’s TENAA certificate, shows a lot to be desired for a top of the range mini device. It also received WCDMA certification, which is a sign that Samsung plan on making this one travel around the world after leaving Europe.

The screen on this cell is still a respectable 4.65 inches big, but only boasting a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 to go along with 800×480 screen resolution.

Specs don’t always tell us a true story of how well a mobile will fare, but pairing underwhelming specs to go along with a round the world ticket makes for an interesting turn of events in the near future. Something like: a cheap entry-level phone with a big brand name stamped all over it is what they are expecting as the selling point here.
