The Tecno N3 is a good little Android phone that we have already had the pleasure of reviewing in detail. After taking an in-depth look at the phone, we concluded that it would most likely become popular among the younger generation. All you have to do is watch the advert for the Tecno N3 via the YouTube clip given in the link above on the same page as the review, to see that. Because it should be a hit with the younger folk, no doubt a fairly high percentage of owners will be looking to root the device.
Make sure you have the Tecno N3 USB drivers. You may have this already if you use the device regularly, in which case you can skip this step. This is necessary to connect the device to the computer, in order to upgrade the official firmware.
You will also need to have USB debugging mode enabled in order to complete this guide. You can follow the link that I provided and find out how to do that if you don’t know already.
Disclaimer: As with all tutorials please make sure you back up your device before you begin and proceed at your own risk. ConsumingTech will not take responsibility for any loss of data or damage which may occur to your device during the guide.
Root Tecno N3
Step 1. Download the Tecno N3 poot apk and also the Ministro II Library from the Google Play store to your desktop.Step 2. Transfer the poot apk to the internal memory of the Tecno N3. Here is where it will prompt your to have Ministro II which you should have downloaded in the previous step.
Step 2. Now it will reboot the N3 provided the Ministro II is updated. If you already have Ministro II it may give an error to update. if this is the case then head over and grab the latest version from the Google Play store. Note: if your device did not reboot automatically, then you will have to reboot manually.
Step 3. Upon reboot, it will bring two options up on the screen. the first option is “press here to poot”. Go ahead and press it. Wait at least a few seconds before continuing. Once you have done that the mobile is technically already rooted, but there is more to do.
Step 4. To finish up the root you must head back over to the Google Play store and download the SuperUser app.
Now that you’re finished, you can instantly download rooted apps. Furthermore, you may be interested in checking out some of the best custom ROMs.
