There are many things you can achieve now that you have access to the root user account on the Android operating system. You may hear of lots of things from other sources that aren’t at all relevant to rooting such as installing custom ROMs or custom kernels which are typically done with a custom recovery image instead and does not require root access. Rooting is all about what you can do with apps. From making the battery last longer without changing the battery at all to making the graphics of your games look better when you play them with 3D rendering. It’s all available to you with root access. You can find out everything there is to do with a rooted Android operating system and then choose the things you want to do.
Once you know the things that you want to achieve with root access, you need to work out the applications that help you get those things done. The Google Play Store does not have any page you can visit to see a full list of the root apps; instead, you need to know what they are before you visit or rely on stumbling upon them. You can find many lists online regarding the best root apps or read our article that goes into great details about what we think are the best root applications for Android and just remember the names the next time you visit the Play Store on your phone or tablet. Any root apps that you do not find available from Google Play will still be available from other sources. Try a Google search for the names instead and see what comes up.
