Many people are rooting the Samsung Galaxy A7 smartphone so they can flash files. Files You Need

The rooting file in this guide should work for all Samsung Galaxy A7’s with the model number SM-A700FD running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. You can check your Android version by scrolling to the Settings > About Device > Android Version.

- Enable the USB Debugging Mode on the Galaxy A7 SM-A700FD smartphone so it can connect to the computer next during the guide.
- Extract the A7’s rooting file to the desktop of the computer and you will find the Odin flashing tool and the rooting tar.md5 file inside.
- Right-click the mouse on the Odin executable file and choose to run as an administrator from the menu.
- Once the Odin flashing tool opens on the desktop, do not make any changes from the default user settings.
- Turn off the Samsung Galaxy A7 smartphone and then boot it up again in download mode using the hardware button combination.
- Connect the Samsung Galaxy A7 smartphone to the computer with the USB cable.
- Wait until you can see the blue or yellow box light up and say that your device is added. Anyone without a color coming from the ID: COM port or the added message will need to install the universal Windows ADB driver and try again.
- Click the AP button from the Odin application.
- Upload the tar.md5 file for your A7 device from the desktop.
- Click the Start button and then wait until Odin gives you a pass message and then check the display of your smartphone for when it says it is about to reboot.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 smartphone will now reboot to recovery mode because that’s what it needs to do in order to successfully root your device. Once you get into recovery the SuperSU will be installed and officially enabled on your device. Feel free to reboot back to normal mode and then start using your device.
