If you are looking for new reasons to root the Samsung Galaxy A3 smartphone, few come better than installing the Greenify application. With Grenify, you can check out the applications that decide to run in the background on your device, and even how frequently those same apps continue waking up. Once you learn that information, you can choose to hibernate certain apps and stop them from chewing up your battery on the Samsung Galaxy A3 smartphone. The Greenify application is always on the list of essential apps to add to your collection once you have root access.

The rooting file for the A3 in this guide is based on LRX22G.A300MUBU1BOK1 firmware which is part of an Android 5.0.2 Lollipop software update for some regions. It doesn’t matter if that same firmware build number is available for your region because you do not have to flash it on your device.

  10. Wait until the flashing is done and then you should see it says that your Galaxy A3 is getting the SuperSU installed, cleaning up the cache partition and re-flashing the stock recovery.
  11. Now look back at the Odin application and check that it shows a green light coming from a box that says your device has passed.
