If you want to learn how to root Motorola Atrix 4G then we are pleased to announce you are in the right place. It isn’t too tricky to do and thanks to a clever little developer we have been able to secure a method to gain root access on the Motorola Atrix 4G running 4.5.141. Unfortunately with the release of software version 4.5.141 for the Motorola Atrix, all users who had previously rooted their devices lost the root.

You will also need to have USB debugging mode enabled in order to complete this guide. This helps to connect your Android phone with the PC.

You will need to make sure you have the Motorola USB drivers. This is necessary for when you connect the device to the computer. You have to connect it to the computer in order to root the device.

Before you begin:

  • This method is designed for PC’s running Windows.
  • Ensure you have USB debugging mode enabled. If you are resetting your device to 4.5.141 there is a chance it will switched USB debugging off. You can check this by navigating to ‘Settings’ > ‘Applications’ > ‘Development’.
