Not the most Stella of invitations we’ve seen so far this week, however, it’s an invitation non-the-less. The one I’m talking about is for the LG G2 press event which has been confirmed to be taking place on August the 7th in New York City. That city is certainly getting its money’s worth in parties this summer as it will also find time to host the likes of Google, Motorola, Nokia and Verizon all within a two week time-span.

Life’s Good were also kind enough to dish out an advertisement promo to go along with it.

The G2’s release has gone more under the radar than the other’s and it’s a device to keep an eye out on if you’re in the hunt for a new phone. To recap, the G2 comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean OS out of the box, and since we are updating this post at a later date, we know that it also receives Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The physical display size is 5.2-inches with 1080 x 1920 pixels screen resolution, 423 ppi pixel density, IPS LCD technology, Scratch-resistant glass, light sensor and the proximity sensor.

Moreover, the camera is 13 megapixels on the rear and 2.1 megapixels on the front. The hardware sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 system chip, Quad core, 2260 MHz, Krait 400 processor, 2048 MB RAM system memory and 32 GB built-in storage space.
