CyanogenMod 9 has long been talked about and now the CyanogenMod team finally got everything they needed including some hefty servers I managed to sneak a peak at already, in order to make the CyanogenMod 9 happen. While each Android product requires a different installation method we’ll do our best to provide each guide we can.
If you have a device we haven’t yet covered by all means send your requests in and we’ll get the guide for you!
Installing CyanogenMod 9 HTC One X
Step 1. Grab this .zip file cm_endeavoru-ota-eng.noeri-003.zip and download it.
Step 2. Go ahead and connect your HTC One X device to the computer using the USB cable.
Step 3. After you’ve connected it, shut the device down. Now upon reboot hold Power & Volume Down buttons simultaneously and boot the device into recovery mode.
Step 4. Type the fastboot flash boot boot.img command into a terminal application. (Note: this is extracting the boot.img file, as well as flashing clockworkmod onto the phone.)
Step 5. Once you’ve done that, reboot your device and you’re set to go.
