A custom recovery image can help you install custom firmware. The custom firmware is from a third party outside of Android’s official developers. Some users also want a custom recovery to get access to system files that they couldn’t do without booting the operating system first. The original custom recovery image was ClockworkMod; however, it has been replaced with TWRP in more recent years. Prerequisites

- Download the latest Odin.
