Many universal methods have failed to root the Samsung Galaxy Pocket 2, but it seems the 360 Root app is capable of rooting this Sammy device. So, here’s how you can use this app to gain root access on your device.
As you already know, root gives you the opportunity to try out various custom developments on your device. And when I say custom developments, I mean the things that give you more powers to do things on your device.

Here’s how:
Files You Need
1. You don’t need to have a computer in order to this tutorial. The root app can directly be downloaded and installed on your device.
2. Download 360 Root app to your computer.
Rooting the Samsung Galaxy Pocket 2
1. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable. Make sure your phone is in data transfer mode.
2. Copy 360 Root app from your computer over to the internal SD card storage on your phone. Place the app on the top of root directory.
3. When 360 Root is copied, unplug your phone from your computer.
4. Open Settings on your phone and tap on Security. Turn on the option that says Unknown sources. It’ll allow you to install apps from outside the Google Play store on your phone.
5. Open File Manager and tap on 360 Root to install the app on your phone.
6. When the app’s installed, open it from your menu.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions for rooting your phone.
8. Wait for the app to root your phone.
9. When the app’s done rooting, reboot your phone.
10. You’re all done!
Your Samsung Galaxy Pocket 2 should now be rooted. You can confirm the root status using Root Checker on your device.
