These are the guidelines to root the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge SM-N915T by T-Mobile running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating systems.
The following guide gives you the updated version of the CF-Root tool to root your Note Edge device that is recently released by Chainfire. The rooting exploit in this guide is made to work on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop — the most up to date version of operating system for Samsung Galaxy Note Edge users.
You should downgrade your operating systems to LMY47X.N915TUVU2COK2 firmware build number running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop if you are not running that one at the moment. You can find that same LMY47X.N915TUVU2COK2 firmware available from the firmware section at the Sam Mobile website. Download and flash it using the same Odin tool in this guide.
Files You Need

- Download the Odin 3.10 flash tool from this page.
- Download the universal ADB Driver on your Windows computer so the Note Edge, Odin flash tool and computer can all communicate properly.

Now you are ready to start installing your root-requiring apps from the Google Play Store. You might be interested in starting with the basic root checker app to see that it did work for your device. You know your apps like Titanium Backup will install once the root is confirmed.
