Have you been looking for a way to install root-requiring apps on your Samsung Galaxy A3 ever since you bought it? You’d be glad to know that there’s now a way to root the said device and get the root apps running on it.

All thanks to Chainfire for his easy rooting kit, you can now root your device by just flashing a single file. Once that is done, you’re free to enjoy many of the root-requiring apps on your device.

Samsung Galaxy A3

Here’s how you can do that:

Files You Need

1. Download and install Samsung USB Drivers on your computer, if you don’t already have them.

2. Download CF-Root to your computer. It’s the file that gains the root access on your device.

3. Download Odin to your computer. It’s the tool that people use to flash Samsung phones.

4. You should only try this on a SM-A300FU device.

Rooting the Samsung Galaxy A3 (1.5GB RAM variant)

1. In case you don’t know, both CF-Root and Odin come as compressed archives. You need to extract them before you can use them. To do that, right-click on both of these archives one by one and select Extract here. It’ll extract the files for you.

2. Launch Odin by double-clicking on its executable file that you extracted to your computer.

3. When Odin launches, click on PDA and choose CF-Root available on your computer.

4. Ensure that Repartition is NOT checked in the Odin. If it comes checked by default, uncheck it.

5. Enable both Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options.

6. Turn off your phone.

7. Turn your phone back on by holding down Volume DOWN+Home+Power buttons at the same time.

8. Hit Volume UP when you see a warning message on your screen. You’ll reboot into download mode.

9. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable.

10. Click on Start in the Odin and let it flash CF-Root on your device.

11. When it’s done flashing the file, your phone will automatically reboot.

12. You’re done.

Yes, your Samsung Galaxy A3 is now rooted and is ready to be installed with the root-requiring apps available in and out of the Google Play store. Enjoy!
