Once you root the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 smartphone, you can start installing apps that require entry to the root file system. Google and Android naturally lock that system access to applications so no application can exploit it. If malware gets on your system and your Android OS has root access, that malware can potentially find it easier to exploit your system. However, with the operating system locked, you can click malware all day long and it cannot access data from other sources on your device. That’s basically the reason why Google choose to not give you a device with root access.
While that’s great, many of us would much prefer the advantages of having root access on the Samsung Galaxy mega and are confident that we know what we are clicking on to avoid malware. Malware isn’t hard to find. Any app that doesn’t have many comments, the comments are fake, it doesn’t have many downloads and nobody knows the name of it, isn’t an app you want to click without research done first. However, you will never find malware from any known root-requiring app that is popular like Tasker, ROM Toolbox and so forth.

- The KingRoot tool will now ping back its own servers in China for a working rooting method they have for your device.
- Keep waiting and watching the progress bar to see how close your Mega 2 device is to being rooted.
- Soon you will get the success message on the devices display and device is now rooted.
