Samsung has just rolled out the new XXLTA official firmware for the Galaxy Note N700, which will be a new version of the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. This upgrade has started rolling out over the air as we speak. It is expected to be reaching many countries around the Europe region running on either T-Mobile or Vodafone carriers. Owners can expect to find this reaching their device settings in the coming days ahead.
Android 4.1.2 is not new to this device. It has been issued several times before with updates such as the XXLT4, XXLT5, XXLT6 and XXLT9 ones carried out earlier this year. Many are region specific, but also bring along a few new features with them. It is not yet known what, if any, are inside of this particular update. What we do know, however, is that it will bring a host of stability improvements along and bug fixes. If you have been experiencing any issues, then it should be a no-brainer to update right away, because there is a good chance your patch awaits inside.
If you have not installed firmware manually before it is advised you follow a guide to do it correctly. For those of you who are experienced enough to not need the guide you can find the direct file download attached to the bottom of the post.
Installing this update will involve the use of ODIN 3.07.
