The Phoenix USB Pro flashing tool allows you to flash stock firmware files for most devices that come with an Allwinner SoC (system chip).

Most flashing tools out there will always offer a way in which you can flash the stock firmware back onto your device. Doing so helps with removing device customizations, fixing software related errors and bugs, getting out of bootloop situations, or just upgrading and downgrading your operating system version for the hell of it.

Here’s what you need to download all versions of the Phoenix USB Pro flashing tool that you can download onto a computer.

Phoenix USB Pro Features

Stock Firmware: You can use the Phoenix USB Pro flashing tool to flash stock firmware onto your device. All you need to do is open up the small application on your computer, connect your device and then upload the firmware file to the flashing tool from the button on its interface. From there the flashing can be done is just one click.

Debug View: The latest version of the Phoenix USB Pro tool comes with a built-in debug view so you can see how the flashing is going and debug any problems.

No Key Required: Previous versions of the Phoenix USB Pro tool required a key before you could use the tool but that has since been taken away in the latest version.

You should always use the latest version of the Phoenix USB Pro tool—signified by the higher version number—unless you have a good reason not to. The latest versions of these flashing tools are more likely to be compatible with more computer operating system versions, more mobile device software, and might even come with some bug fixes over the earlier versions, too.

Take Into Account

Compatibility: You can use the Phoenix USB Pro for all devices that come with an Allwinner chipset. Use a search engine such as Google to find out your device specifications if you’re unsure.

Back Up Your Data: You should always make sure you back up your data before flashing firmware. You should find that your pictures, music, video, documents, etc. are still on your device after the firmware update, but other sensitive data such as your applications installed from Google Play or the phone contacts will be gone unless you can restore them from a backup.

Alternative Tools: If Phoenix USB Pro doesn’t work for your device, you can try other tools such as the LiveSuit or PhoneixSuit instead, as they too are made to work for devices with Allwinner system chips.

Official Tool: Phoenix USB Pro is an official tool made by AllWinner Technology Co, Ltd.
