The Motorola Droid has done enough to see a third-generation come out for Verizon Wireless subscribers. The Droid 3 is obviously a successor to the Droid 2 and comes with an additional 30 % power coming from the graphics processor in comparison to last years graphics processor.

The original Motorola Droid was very popular but it received mixed reviews. The Droid reviews have gotten better as the generations go on, but oddly the popularity of the device has fallen. The third-generation Motorola Droid got good reviews and can be picked up cheaply if you are looking for a cheap device to have as a secondary phone, or a new device to customize. The official CyanogenMod custom ROMs are available to install on this one.
