One thing I’ve noticed is that many Android devices have a battery life with a lot to desire, but I’m happy to say there’s now an Android app to help this issue out, and it seems to have great results. The Android app is called Badass Battery Monitor, and it works by finding out for you what applications are draining your battery’s life, so you can choose to turn these off and thus preventing the battery of your device from going flat.

While it’s not a direct battery saver regarding making a stronger battery, what people have to realize is that it’s technically impossible to achieve, unless you do actually make a new battery. Which in time, they will eventually do, but they will come standard on the next generation of Android-powered smartphones, not on the devices you have now.

With this in mind, this application is a fantastic way to help you out in the meantime. So good, in fact, you’re not likely to find anything better any time soon.

What Google Play has to say about the App:

* Status bar notification for battery state and time left estimates.
* Detailed display of what is using your battery.
* Lists showing app usage allowing sorting by things such as CPU usage, Sensor usage, Wake Locks, Wake Time, etc.
* Add a widget to your home screen showing the battery status and time remaining.

One thing to note about the BBM is that it comes in two available version to download. One is a free version, and the other is the extended version which comes with a small fee attached. Check out the free version first and see what you think. That would be the easiest way to go about things. It’s also probably why the free version is there to try. If you like it, then move onto the paid copy.
