DESCRIPTION
The Ashampoo Internet Accelerator 3 interface looked dated. Additionally, the browsers it had in the menu were Firefox and Internet Explorer. Microsoft Windows no longer supports any version of Internet Explorer. I started to think that there was a newer version of this tool available and that I was reviewing a much older version than what I would expect to be the current one. However, when I searched for the Ashampoo Internet Accelerator, it was in fact the Ashampoo Internet Accelerator 3 that was returned to me in the results. I began to use the tools unrelated to the two browsers they offered. I have had to troubleshoot a host file before for my web hosting related to my website, so I was familiar with what that is. And this tool did return the details regarding my host file and its status.
CONCLUSION AND DOWNLOAD LINK
Some of the features of Ashampoo Internet Accelerator 3 may still be relevant today such as the host file checker that can tell you if your Windows Hostsfile contains the default entries and only comments. But overall, the tool was too dated for me to be willing to pay for today in 2024 and I assumed it must have been up to at least Ashampoo Internet Accelerator 6 or so by looking at it.
