New invites are sent out to Tel-Aviv press conference by Google look like the one’s that will include the release of the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 to go along with it.

These two things — device and software — have long been rumored as pairing up and coming out together. Right up until now there was no confirmation of that, and while it still needs taking with a grain of salt, it certainly looks like November 5 will indeed by the date we get to see it all.

The Android 4.4 will be the brand new firmware for Android that we haven’t seen revealed yet. It’s been a very long wait for Android enthusiasts who are sure to see it soon for the first time.

We’ve seen a few leaks pop up, but none of which is confirmed as true.

The invite says the words “save the date” on it with the 5th stamped in white letters. It also has the chocolate type of Kit Kat background to go with it. In the middle is a black marble that has the shape of a Nexus, which can only mean one thing.

The Nexus 5 is starting off with Android 4.4 KitKat and will see further updates including 4.4.2 and 4.4.4 KitKat. In addition, it has a 5.0-inch display, 1080 x 1920 pixels screen resolution, 445 ppi pixel density, IPS LCD screen technology, light sensor, proximity sensor and scratch-resistant glass.

The camera includes an 8 megapixel shooter on the rear and a 1.3 megapixel snapper on the front. Moreover, it comes with LED flash, BSI, Autofocus, optical image stabilization, face detection, digital zoom, burst mode, white balance, ISO control and more.

The hardware comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 system chip, Quad core, 2260 MHz, Krait 400 processor, 2048 MB RAM system memory and 32 GB of internal storage space. The downside is that it doesn’t come with an external SD card slot for additional storage space.

The battery offers 17 hours of talk-time before it goes flat, and 12.5 days standby time. The capacity is 2300 mAh, but it is not user-replaceable.

To sum up, if you want a new smartphone with a big display, lots of RAM, fast 4G mobile data support, a quad-core processor, HDMi connector, extremely high pixel density this is the phone for you.
