Unrooting your Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 is the only way to get all the default things back on your device. From default settings to default apps, everything comes back when you flash a stock ROM on your device.

If you’ve removed the default goodies from your device and you want to have them back, here’s how:

Samsung Galaxy Ace 4

Files You Need

1. You need a Windows-based computer to do this tutorial.

2. Samsung USB drivers should be installed on your computer.

3. Download Odin to your computer. You’ll use it to flash the stock ROM on your device.

4. Download Stock ROM for the SM-G357FZ to your computer. It’s the operating system in its entirety for your device.

5. This should only be tried on the SM-G357FZ device.

Unrooting the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4

1. Right-click on both Stock ROM and Odin and select Extract here to extract the actual usable files.

2. Double-click on Odin executable to open it.

3. When the Odin opens, click on PDA and choose Stock ROM available on your computer. This is the file that will be flashed on your device.

4. Make sure that Repartition is unchecked in the Odin.

5. You can, however, checkmark Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options in the Odin.

6. Turn off your device.

7. Reboot your device into download mode. To do that, hold down Volume DOWN, Home, and Power buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.

8. Press the Volume UP button to enter the download mode on your device.

9. Once in download mode, connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable.

10. Click on Start in the Odin and let it flash the stock ROM on your device.

11. When Odin’s done flashing the ROM, your phone should automatically reboot.

12. You’re done!

Your Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 was successfully unrooted. It no longer supports root-requiring apps and any custom development files. It’s pure stock now.
