The founder of CEO of Snapchat, Evan Spiegel, bought a house for over 3 million dollars today so we know the application is still going strong. Today we have a new version of Snapchat namely 126.96.36.199 that comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop support. Lollipop is the latest software update coming to the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 Google-owned devices. From there it will arrive for other Google Play Edition handsets, the older Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 and then complete it’s way around to the Motorola, Samsung, HTC and Sony smartphone and tablet ranges.
Snapchat is evaluated at 10 billion dollars and is one app to check out if you haven’t done so already. The apps lets users quickly share “snaps” of pictures and videos before it disappears from the screen itself without requiring you to hit the delete button. It’s not fool-proof since the device owners can still take a screenshot and capture the moment locked away. Nevertheless when used correctly between friends, it can be a secretive way to lead a life you need not worry about.
The new iteration comes with some bugs according to the people leaving the comments. The last update came on the 7th of November and over 100,000,00 people are using the application direct from the Google Play Store.
