Are you residing in France and own a Sony Xperia Z C6603 on the Orange carrier network? If so, then there’s an Android 4.2.2 update being passed your way which has the build number of 10.3.1.A.1.10.

This upgrade will hook users up with the latest jelly Bean now available for the mobile phone.

As of now there isn’t much talk on what this update entails. However, users can expect a range of bug fixes and stability improvements, along with some cool new features. The features vary from carrier to carrier and between devices which means it isn’t safe to assume anything now.

For those of you looking to update manually, it is found via PC companion, Bridge and SUS. The only other way to receive it is by waiting for it to arrive in your cell settings.

This handset weighs in at 146 grams and is made out of glass. That is unique for a phone. It’s 5 inches in size and has a multi-touch screen. You might be thinking glass would look good, but it sounds like a nightmare to keep clean. Sony has answered that statement by making it scratch proof, so there is no need to worry about its looks. If the glass style is your thing, then we say go for it!

There are heaps of cool features on board this one like face detection, touch to focus and a 2.2 megapixel front facing camera. It also runs at 1080p full HD, which for its time was good. That’s still good today, even though we will be seeing a handset with 4 times that output in the near feature.
