It’s not often we can associate the word iTunes and free together in a sentence because normally everything we come across that is from official artists is expensive. Today there is an exception to that thanks to People’s magazine free playlist comprising of 8 different country singers. The only exception is that patrons must be inside the United States to get this deal. That’s a shame because it is other parts of the world like Australia that get music expensive.

A ‘little birdie’ informs me that people think they can trick the store into thinking they are in the US by selecting the country from the menu when it asks. Unfortunately, it is not that simple and if you try and be dishonest Apple will know because they have radar on where you are no matter what you enter. It’s more just a benefit to get things better suited for your experience if you offer the correct information.

The word is that this magazine do it on a regular basis so if you are into the good old country and western then it is a good idea to become a subscriber to them, so you do not miss a beat (no pun intended).

Ironical pundits have the Apple app store overtaking the iTune’s revenue by the final quarter of 2014. That’s likely more of a testament to how good application purchases are doing of late and not any issues with iTunes. Although it will be interesting to see what happens to the music side of things once Apple’s acquisition of Beats kicks into gear. With the fruit companies focus solely on Dr. Dre’s former company that sold for 3 billion, there’s little doubt they have a lot in mind from streaming instead of just downloading. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens so if you are into your songs than you don’t want to miss out on the action. Subscribe to use, and we’ll keep you posted on any more details that come out in the near future. There’s sure to be heaps!

This list will be free until the 15th of June. That leaves another 10 days to get downloading so don’t want until it’s too late!
