Today, T-Mobile and Metro PC have announced they will each carry one of the new LG L series III smartphones. T-Mobile has decided to sell the Optimus L90 and Metro PCS have settled for the Optimus L70 instead.

As numbers always tend to go in the smartphone industry, the higher the number the better. That trend continues here with the L90 having a Q HD display (not to be confused with the current Quad HD everybody is talking about), a 4.7-inch screen and a Snapdragon quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It has an 8 megapixel rear-facing snapper and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing snapper. This handset comes out on the 30th of April.

The L70, on the other hand, does not look quite so impressive on paper with a 4.5-inch display, 800 x 400 screen resolution and a 5 megapixel rear snapper. It does, however, still have a dual-core processor and a Snapdragon system Chip that Android phones love so much today. This handset is readily available to own today.

So far after spending some time with the L65, the third device in this series, I have had lots of nice things to say about it including how great it is to have a dual-SIM phone running Android 4.4 KitKat for such a small price. The chocolate variety of software is coming this way yet again and shoppers can buy these two phones with confidence of me having the same opinion again. It is not often you get to buy low-end mobiles that are running the best software Android has to offer.
