I have been asked by several people if I know anything about hyperpromote.com and why it appears on their websites. Hyperpromote is a part of the advertising company
If you see Hyperpromote.com appear, don’t worry it is not a form of malware or virus or anything like that. It is a part of the Bidvertiser Ads, and they are actually an extra source of revenue for you. If you run a blog similar to mine, I don’t recommend running these type of ads because people who search the internet for blog content hate this type of thing. For a different kind of site where you something users really need and have no other choice but to grab your content anyway, such as The Pirate Bay, then this is more the type of site Hyperpromote.com ads would be good for. Sites like that also can’t have other popular ad networks such as Google Adsense either because they do not allow for sites like that in their conditions. Same thing with adult sites also. That’s why it is common to see this kind of pop-up ads appear for websites like this.
In saying that, the Hyperpromote pop under ads do generate a good revenue. Especially if you are a new website, you will be pleasantly surprised. So to each their own, if you want these ads there’s nothing wrong with them, I just don’t advise putting them up because your readers will not like them.
To add to that, I tried Bidvertiser myself when this website was brand new. When my friends browsed my site from a mobile browser, they would be redirected to pornographic material websites. I informed Bidvertiser, and they said it should not be happening. They fixed it for a few days, then the same problem again. For this reason, I left Bidvertiser. I could not trust them. That’s not to say this virus problem will affect you, but this was my experience with the company.
If you are looking to stop Hyperpromote, all you have to do is go into your Bidvertiser settings and turn off popup ads. It may also be labeled pop-under ads even though you see them as Hyperpromote popups. This is another problem I had with Bidvertiser.
