Files You Need

Rooting the Zen Ultrafone 701HD

  1. Download the rooting exploit directly on the computer.
  2. Since you are using a Windows PC, it will automatically appear in the Downloads folder by default unless you have changed the default location of your Downloads.
  3. Open the Downloads folder and move the rooting exploit over to the desktop (click and drag the file).
  4. Right-click the mouse over the files and select the “extract here” option from the Windows menu.
  5. Make sure you have the USB Debugging Mode enabled on your device before continuing. You can find that out by pointing to the Menu > Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging Mode.
