It has only been a couple of months since Samsung launched the Galaxy E7, an Android phone that runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, and within this short span of time, the device has been able to get a root method.

Chainfire is the developer behind the method that roots the Samsung Galaxy E7 and allows you to customize your device to a really great extent. If that lures you to root your device, here’s how you can do that:

2. Download Odin to your computer. It’s the only simplest utility that allows you to flash Samsung phones.

3. Download CF-Root to your computer. Choose the file that is for your specific variant of the device from the following list:

Rooting the Samsung Galaxy E7

1. First step is to extract the required files from the downloaded archives. Right-click on both Odin and CF-Root and select Extract here. It’ll extract the files for you.

2. When the files are extracted, double-click on Odin and wait for it to launch.

3. When Odin launches, hit the button that says PDA and choose CF-Root available on your computer.

4. Make sure Repartition is unchecked in the Odin. If it’s already checked, uncheck it.

5. Checkmark both Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options. They won’t cause any issues in the procedure.
