The Windows 11 operating system has been updated to version 22471.1000. This Insider Preview update to the Dev channel on October 4, 2021.
Windows 11 Insider Preview 22471.1000 comes with one major change: Microsoft has renamed TabletInputService to TextInputManagementService since they feel it needs to be better branded to more accurately represent what the task handles today given how much it has changed over the years.
Windows 11 build 22471.1000 also brings fixes to the taskbar, File Explorer, various input devices, windowing, and various other general fixes as well.
