The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime is similar to the Grand Prime but comes in shorter and with a display size that’s half an inch smaller, making it look wider. The Core Prime comes in with less specs right across the board from hardware, display size, screen resolution, pixel density and camera. However, it has managed to get Android Lollipop before the Grand Prime. Apart from being behind on software updates, there’s no other reason I can think of why you should choose this handset over the Grand variant apart from money.

Bottom line: If you are looking for a reason to buy the Galaxy Core Prime, it is great value for money. Most owners walk away happy with the smartphone, with few problems ever reported with its hardware.

The Core prime is available from Boost Mobile, Sprint and Verizon. It’s also sold by Telstra in Australia and available in overseas markets.
