Step 1. First you will need to download the following files:

Step 2. Once you have downloaded the Superboot file, unzip it and save it somewhere easy to access such as your desktop.

Step 3. Boot your device into bootloader mode. To achieve this, switch off your device then restart it by holding down the ‘Volume Down’ button and the ‘Power Key’ at the same time.

Step 4. Once you have your device in Bootloader mode, take the USB cable and connect it to your PC.

Double click on the install-superboot-windows.bat file to run it.

Mac Users

From the location that you saved the extracted files, open a Terminal Window and enter the following:

chmod +x install-superboot-mac.sh

./install-superboot-mac.sh

Linux Users

From the location that you saved the extracted files, open a Terminal Window and enter the following:

chmod +x install-superboot-linux.sh

 ./install-superboot-linux.sh

Step 6. This will begin the rooting process. It shouldn’t take more than a few moments.
