The Moto G Has been in the news a lot lately for many things. Most recently was when we saw the U.K get in on some extra accessories after observing the Moto maker take over the world in the previous weeks. Don’t confuse it with the more expensive X version. The G has only just been released, and we should still see a lot more things pop up over the next few months as we see it die down for its more expensive counterpart.

If shopping for your holiday doesn’t tickle your fancy, then here is one of the many things you can indulge in this holiday season without even getting up from your seat. All owners will get the update over the air with a new firmware called Android 4.4.2 which is the last iteration of KitKat.

The beauty with this one is that there will now be support for almost all the apps that were out that hadn’t previously had it until now. This is one of the more common problems that happens inside of the mobile sector. There is no workaround for this, or for that matter, an easy option to try to skip it. Once a new software comes out all applications must then be upgraded which makes them compatible. This will make them much smoother to use. Often people come across what they think is either a bug in the last OS or in the device itself, but if its apps you are using and there has been a recent upgrade to a newer name, then you know it’s just probably the app itself with this issue.

By navigating to Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Check Now everybody can check if this is already waiting in the settings. Most people should get a notification warning them that it’s now available and ready to use. If you use the phone often then the notification likely won’t get passed your eagle-eyes.

Live streaming of the launch was under way toward the beginning of November. It was originally thought that this mobile could have been the DVX, which was the international cut down version. That turned out to not be the case, and they also made a cheap option for the Americans, even though the first one wasn’t very expensive in itself, and it was also good value for money.

Even with this Smartphone coming to us so cheaply, there has been extensive testing done, and reports say that Motorola and Google are still making some good profit from it, and that it’s not just creating a name-buzz.

Sometimes Android-based operating systems can seem harder to use — just look at the email setup. Today it took me around 3 hours to finally get through my dads, while my iPhone takes me all of the 3 hassle-free minutes. Still, there’s no doubting how they have mastered making super cheap products and still growing into a powerhouse of a company.
