If you’re missing the stock appearance, you can always unroot your Samsung Galaxy V and get it back to the stock. That way you will get all of the stock goodies back on your device. These include everything, from system apps to system settings, they’ll all be back on your device once you’ve flashed the stock ROM on your device.

Here’s how to unroot your Samsung Galaxy V:

Files You Need

1. This requires you to have a Windows based computer.

2. Download and install Samsung USB drivers on your computer, if they aren’t installed already.

3. Download Odin to your computer. It’ll be used to flash stock ROM on your device.

4. Download Stock ROM for the SM-G313HZ to your computer. It’s the OS for your device.

5. This only works for the SM-G313HZ device.

Unrooting the Samsung Galaxy V

1. Right-click on both Stock ROM and Odin one by one and select Extract here to extract their files.

2. Launch Odin by double-clicking on its executable file.

3. Click on PDA in the Odin and select Stock ROM available on your computer.

4. Uncheck Repartition in the Odin.

5. Checkmark both Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time in the Odin.

6. Turn off your device.

7. Reboot your device into download mode by holding down Volume DOWN, Home, and Power buttons together.

8. Press Volume UP and you’ll be in download mode on your device.

9. Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.

10. Click on Start in the Odin and wait for it to flash stock ROM on your device.

11. When it’s done flashing ROM, your device should automatically reboot.

12. You’re all set!

Your Samsung Galaxy V is now unrooted and is on the stock firmware.
