Unrooting your Samsung Galaxy Core 2 is useful in many cases. Files You Need

1. You need a Windows based computer to do this tutorial.

2. You should have Samsung USB drivers installed on your computer. If you don’t, download and install them first.

3. Download Odin to your computer. You’ll use it to flash the stock ROM on your device.

4. Download Stock ROM for the SM-G355H to your computer. It is what you will flash on your device.

5. This only works for the SM-G355H device.

Unrooting the Samsung Galaxy Core 2

1. Right-click on both Stock ROM and Odin one by one and select Extract here to extract the files.

2. Double-click on Odin executable to launch it.

3. When Odin launches, click on PDA and choose Stock Firmware available on your computer. It is the file that you extracted from the archive and not the archive itself.

4. Checkmark both Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time.

5. Uncheck Repartition in the Odin.

6. Turn off your device.

7. Turn your device back on in download mode. To do so, hold down Volume DOWN, Home, and Power buttons simultaneously.

8. Press Volume UP when the prompt appears and you will be in download mode.

9. Plug in your device to your computer using a USB cable.

10. Odin should recognize your device and you should see the same on your screen.

11. Click on Start in the Odin and wait for it to flash the ROM on your device.

12. When it’s done flashing the ROM, your device should automatically reboot.

13. You’re all set!

Cool! Your Samsung Galaxy Core 2 should now be unrooted. It now runs the official Samsung stock firmware.
