Unrooting is the best way to go about getting your Huawei U8120 security back and working properly. When your Huawei device is rooted, it’s easier for malware to get access to your internal system through apps.

In addition to the extra security benefits, you can start installing official software updates again. If you accept OTA notification with root access, it can sometimes brick down the phone. The method we are using today for taking away the root access on the U8120 is flashing the stock ROM. Once we do this manually the first time, you can accept any future updates that happen automatically and directly to your device.
