Although the Samsung Transform Ultra is quite an old device, it’s still worth to gain root-access on it and enjoy many of the root-requiring apps on it. Files You Need

1. Download Odin for Windows that will help you flash the root files on your phone. It is a tool that can flash almost all the Samsung phones out there.

2. Download Transform Ultra OPS file that you will need during the root process.

3. Grab Build7 as well as Tu Root files for the root procedure. Copy the Tu Root ZIP file over to the SD card storage on your phone. Make sure you do it without extracting the archive.

Rooting the Samsung Transform Ultra

1. As with almost all the rooting procedures, enable USB debugging on your phone from Menu->Settings->Applications->Development->USB debugging. It’s the function that allows your phone to be programmed using your computer.

2. Run the Odin tool just like any other app on your computer.

3. In order for your PC to recognize your device, you need to put your device into download mode. To do that, you can hold down Camera+Volume DOWN+Power buttons at the same time.

4. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable.

5. When the phone’s connected, pull the battery out of it.

6. Come back to the Odin screen and checkmark the boxes that say One Package, Auto Reboot, and Protect OPS. Leave the Reset Time box unchecked as it’s not important.

7. Make sure to leave the Debug ONLY option unchecked.

8. Click on Select OPS and select the Transform Ultra OPS file you downloaded earlier.

9. Click on One Package and select the Build7 file that you downloaded earlier.

10. Click on Start and you should see Odin flashing the root files on your phone.

11. When Odin is all done, eject your device from your computer.

12. Put the battery back in your device and hold down Volume DOWN and Power buttons to get into recovery.

13. When in recovery mode, select install zip from sdcard followed by choose zip from sdcard.

14. At this point, you’re required to choose the Tu Root ZIP file that you copied over earlier.

15. Let the recovery flash Tu Root on your phone. When it’s done, reboot your phone.

16. You’re done.

And there you go.
