Samsung Galaxy A5

The Files You Need

  • Download Chainfire’s root package for the A5 A500F here.
  • Download the Samsung USB Drivers for mobile phones from the Sammy website. You should try rebooting the computer if the Samsung galaxy smartphone doesn’t connect with the flashing tool. Sometimes the driver requires a reboot for it to start working properly.
  • Download the Odin flashing tool for your computer. keep scrolling down the page until you see the Odin links. We recommend using one of the newer versions of Odin; however, all of them will work. You must install the Odin app on a Windows PC. The only version of Windows it won’t work for is the Windows Surface tablet running Windows RT as it’s a modified version of Windows 8.1. Windows RT cannot run normal apps unless you install it from the Windows Store.
