Here is what you need to download the Gfive Gpower 3 stock ROM (firmware) flash file onto your computer so it can then be flashed with the appropriate flashing tool.

Smartphone repair centers originally used many smartphone flashing tools to help solve people’s smartphone software woes, and the only software updates that people would install themselves were what are known as over-the-air updates. These OTA updates are often rolled out by the smartphone manufacturers that you may have purchased from or carrier networks that you may have been a subscriber to.

OTA updates are still good enough to get your device out of trouble if you were expecting some software-related problems, but nothing is quite as handy as being able to flash firmware files with flashing tools whenever you may please. The main reason for this being you can flash firmware with flashing tools whenever you want whereas with OTA updates you have no choice but to wait for it to eventually roll out to your device which could be months, assuming there is anything on its way at all.

There is another significant advantage that flashing firmware yourself has, and that’s you can safely do it to remove device customizations. If you were to have a custom recovery image installed already, you shouldn’t be accepting OTAs. Likewise, if you have root access and have made system partition changes, you should be giving the OTA a miss as well. Most of the time the developers of such tools will recommend that you stick to custom software. But if you are to go back to stock Android, it’s always to be done by flashing the firmware with a flashing tool rather than accepting any of the OTA notifications.

Flashing firmware files, yourself can help get your out of nasty bootloop situations, fix software errors, solve update errors, and sometimes managed to bring back smartphones from the dead as well. And if you really needed it, you might also be lucky enough to have fixed a device that was experiencing unexpected behavior after installing over-the-air software updates with a customized device, too.

Important Notes

[*] Back Up Your Data: You should always back up your data before you begin flashing new firmware files to your smartphone or tablet. All of your pictures, music, videos, documents, etc. should be still on your device after you have updated the firmware, but you may need to restore the contacts and applications from a backup.

[*] Wipe Cache and Factory Reset: Some people claim that taking a factory reset isn’t necessary after updates, but at the very least you should wipe the system cache after installing new firmware. This way you can help eliminate any performance issues and battery draining bugs. Taking a factory reset is the best way of avoiding common problems many users face after applying software updates.
