The lava Iris Alfa is made for a niche market. It comes with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and Dual SIM card support. Those people wanting a Lava and Dual SIM support are the obvious target market. Overall, there aren’t any standout features that the Alfa does amazingly, but it does come with the added bonus of an expendable storage card that so many devices do without. Furthermore, it gives you a large 5.0 inch display at an affordable price.

The Alfa comes with slow data which means slower internet browsing experiences that you would probably prefer to do without. The data speeds are statistics you wouldn’t normally see when browsing over the basics, but the information is out there when you look at the EDGE, UMTS and GPRS details.
