Every Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone for Verizon subscribers comes with a stock ROM out of the box that you can see once you turn on the device. That stock ROM is a universal ROM for everyone that buys the device. As you could imagine, that presents a few problems for many people. Firstly, not everyone is going to want the same features, so we know the stock ROM is designed to be an “all rounder” that everybody can enjoy. The problem with that is that that aren’t many features that people love.
Custom ROMs are largely designed to change all of that and give users more of a niche market ROM for people to choose. You can with a new custom ROM that is built for better performance than the stock ROM. Alternatively, you can find some that give awesome battery life. Others just give you a stack of new features that you haven’t seen yet from an official Android build.

Extreme Syndicate v8 ROM:
The Extreme Syndicate v8 ROM is based on the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Samsung Galaxy S6 stock ROM. The Extreme Syndicate v8 custom ROMs has some bugs that are fixed which were really annoying on the stock ROM. Some examples of this include the memory fix and auto brightness issue. This custom ROM is just a modified and better version of Galaxy S6’s stock ROM.

The Revolution 1.0 ROM is also based on the Android 5.0 Lollipop Galaxy S6’s stock ROM. This custom ROM is rooted already so you need not to waste time on that. Furthermore, it is already fully deodexed and zip aligned for better performance but with some better and more user interface tweaks for customizing your phone.

Clean ROM Lite 1.1:
The Clean ROM Lite 1.1 is based on the Galaxy S6 stock ROM but all the features are removed and now it looks like a stock Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM. If you don’t need any of the Samsung features on your phone and you are happy with this then you should install it on your phone. The Lite 1.1 version of the clean ROM is ‘lite’ which means most of the features are removed.

If you read up on the Clean ROM 1.1 from above then you should know what this custom ROM offers. But still I’m going to tell you. The Clean ROM custom ROM contains only the apps that keep your phone up and working. However, it does come with more basic Samsung Galaxy apps which you can’t live without like the Smart Manager, S Voice, S Health and the S Finder.

Installing the stock ROM on your device can be messy because you need that USB cable, Odin and of course your PC to install it on your phone. Furthermore, it’s risky too because if any antivirus program shuts Odin down during the process, then your device will get messed up. So why all this struggle?
