Those wanting a tablet from the Asus range best check out the Asus Memo Pad 7 device. Launched during June of 2014, the memo Pad 7 didn’t release until August of the same year. It follows on from the successful Asus Memo Pad HD7 device. The new Asus tablet comes in 5 color choices: Black, White, Yellow, Red and Blue. Furthermore, it comes with a IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. The screen resolution is 800 x 1280 and it’s covered in quality Corning Gorilla Glass.

As the name suggest, the Memo Pad 7 comes with a 7-inch display. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, which is still one of the most popular Android operating systems to run on any Android to date even though we have Lollipop and Marshmallow already out.

Those of you wanting a tablet with a great camera best shop elsewhere, as the Asus memo Pad 7 comes with a lackluster 5 MP shooter and no flash. Most people are not shopping for a high-quality camera when thinking about buying a new tablet, though, so it’s not a big deal for most. Traditionally speaking, we always see tablets with cameras that don’t compete with a smartphone due to it being one of the areas the OEM cuts down on unnecessary costs. However, even for a tablet, the Memo Pad 7 isn’t producing what we have come to expect — at least by producing a flash if nothing else.
