The Alcatel Pop 2 (5) was announced during September of 2014 and not released until some time during 2015, giving it the impression it’s older than it really is. It’s clear Alcatel had big plans for this device having released it with 11 color variations.
With a Quad-core 1.2 GHz and 5 MP primary shooter, it’s only going to go so far in today’s competitive smartphone market. having said that, it does come with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and it still an updated Android operating system that is still ahead of its time. It’s actual;ly Android 4.4 Kitkat that is stil the most popular OS version to use and Lollipop will overtake that some time over the next 12 months.
