Just as T-Mobile released their official hands-on and unboxing video of the 2014 Samsung Galaxy S5, one of their fierce rivals, Sprint, have come out to let the world know what price they have set for the Samsung Galaxy S5 they will be selling next month.
If consumers want to buy the phone outright it will set you back $649, or customers can go on a 2 year plan and pay $199 for a mobile phone instead. There is always a constant debate about the what is the better option. It seems that buying it outright is a very good deal, especially when Australian carriers are charging just under $600 for the Moto X that is already half a year old, and the best price they are going for from the bigger carriers is $549. It will come down to how many calls you plan on making and then taking the time to sit down and decide which option you want. If the buyer is somebody who is on the phone a lot then no matter how good price is, the plan will work out to be a beneficial decision since it will use up the call credit very quickly. If settled on the two year contract, remember it will have you locked in for two years.

As usual, just before we see a smartphone release, there is a lot of rumors and leaked information coming out. Right now we have strong reason to believe that phone carriers Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, MetroPCS and Sprint all carry the same unofficial release date of April 11 for this handset. Then behind them we have Virgin and Boost Mobile whom both have the unofficial release date of Q2 still, but just not as soon as the others. For phone carriers in the United States that is all we know of now.
The Galaxy S5 has a 5.1-inch physical size display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels plus a pixel density of 432 ppi. The screen is a super AMOLED still. The camera is 16 megapixels and is one of the main focal points of the launch event this year. It will only have 16 GB of built-in storage, but do not let that be a turn off because it is possible to have up to 128 GB of MicroSD card expandable storage. It will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, which is almost a shame because the rumors suggest that the Snapdragon 805 processor will be coming out mid-year, making this flagship a thing of the past rather quickly.
The standout features of this phone that make it a very good buy are the high-resolution display that will be a delight to view. The pixel density also sees a notable increase over other handsets. It has 4G speed, NFC, and it is water-resistant. The operating system will be the freshest Android 4.4.2 KitKat, moreover it has a fingerprint sensor for unlocking. Some of those features are a thing of the past soon, but that is always the case with mobiles these days. Lamentably, they do not wait around long before they get updated to something better, and that is just the way of the industry. As of today, though, this is a good handset to buy if you are shopping around.
