Custom ROMs on the Google Nexus 4 smartphone are designed to use less memory because using less memory means you get a device with better performance and a better battery. Often our smartphone come to us with system apps to create some additional revenue for our OEMS after you purchase the device. Since Google own Android and Nexus, the Nexus range of devices is always the one range that doesn’t bloat your device to any significant degree. However, the performance and battery benefits thanks to a lighter ROM are still there should you ever decide to install a custom ROM and replace the stock ROM.

When Android developers create custom ROMs they are usually doing it for nothing more than a cup of coffee which is usually given to them via a donation button. They do not have any motives behind what they create apart from wanting to showcase their skills to the world and give the people what they are looking for in a new ROM. It is for that reason that we get a debloated ROM and also the reason why these developers have no interest in giving us added bloatware.
