Files You Need
- You need a Windows running computer in order to do this tutorial.
- Download and install LG USB drivers on your computer, if they aren’t already installed.
- Download Root Package to your computer. It’s the whole package that contains everything you need to root your LG G Pad 10.1.
- This uses a universal root method to root the device. Therefore, the following tutorial may work on a number of Android devices.
Rooting the LG G Pad 10.1
- Unzip files from Root Package over to your computer by right-clicking on it and selecting Extract here.
- Unlock the developer options menu on your device by going to Menu->Settings->About phone and tapping on Build number for 7-8 times until it says you’re a developer.
- Go to Menu->Settings->Developer options on your device and turn on USB debugging.
- Plug in your device to your computer using a USB cable.
- Right-click on LG Root Script.bat and select Run as administrator to launch the rooting tool on your computer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to gain root on your LG G Pad 10.1 device.
- Wait for the tool to gain root-access on your device.
- When the tool’s done rooting your device, reboot your device.
- You’re all set!
Your LG G Pad 10.1 is now rooted and you can confirm it using the Root Checker app on your device. If it says you’re rooted, you’re all set to flash a custom recovery on your LG G Pad 10.1 to enjoy many of the custom ROMs available out there for your device!

where is LG Root Script.bat? it is only odin and tar md5 file.
when i conect tablet at odin, id-com is yelow not blue.where am i wrong?

Root script is no longer available from that link.
For future reference, the Odin can be yellow or blue. Both are fine and means that your device is connected correctly.

There’s like 50 .exes in that root link which one do you get for LG g pad vk700
